I have known Shahmir for over a decade now and since he’s been with Micah, she and I have become fast friends! I was so excited when they asked me to photograph their engagement photos! I love that I was able to capture these special moments for them but also be apart of such an important decision they were making!

Well, let me just tell you about this amazing proposal! Shahmir, being a pilot, was “testing” something out and had Micah come along with him. As they begin to fly over the International Polo Club, Micah sees MARRY ME written on the Polo field in pollo balls! Of course she said YES! How could she not?!?

Shahmir was trusted with finding the perfect barn for this equestrian couple and boy oh boy did he deliver! We went to an amazing barn in Wellington right next to the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. I could not have imagined a more perfect location for these two, as Micah is a dressage rider for the Israeli Dressage Team and Shah plays polo for Escue Polo. It was the perfect fit!

That morning Micah texted me that the zipper on her dress broke so she was going to head to the mall and find another dress. Well, it ended up being sort of a good thing because WOW, the dress she found was absolutely stunning! We started off the session in their equestrian clothes, because of course how could we not include it!! The weather initially wasn’t on our side with dark rain clouds being around, but as Micah changed into her gown, the clouds opened up and let that beautiful golden light shine right through! We had 15 minutes of the most beautiful light that we were able to utilize and it created some amazing images!!

We ended the night with a glass of champagne, I shouldn’t mention that Shahmir accidentally popped the bottle before I had my camera up but I will haha, and some great memories! I wish you both a lifetime of horses and happiness!!
